Built over the meandering Spring Creek, the picturesque town of Lodi is a great place to stop and admire or purchase fine art pieces created by local artisans. Mill Street Studio & Gallery is located four blocks from the center of town where Main Street (Hwy 113) and Lodi Street (Hwy 60) intersect.

Dorothea Johnson, owner and artist, felt that Lodi needed an "art haven" to encourage the many area artists to show and sell their work in a relaxed yet professional arena. Johnson, a creative person who grew up in a family of active local artists, believes that every community should support, encourage and share artistic creativity on a grass roots level. In this spirit, Mill Street Studio & Gallery opened in November 2004.
